Color – 4C’s of Diamond Certification
Evaluating the Diamond Color
Color is a varying factor in diamonds. Diamonds can come in an array of yellows, blues, pinks, oranges, white, black and other colors. If the color is natural, as opposed to treated, the prices of these colorful diamonds can be extremely high.
Generally, diamonds with no color are rarer and more expensive than near-colorless diamonds. The internationally recognized scale runs in order of rarity from colorless to light yellow.
